In this episode, CSP Editorial Collective member Suryia Nayak speaks to Becki Meakin, Involvement Manager at UK non-profit user-led organisation Shaping Our Lives. Shaping Our Lives specialise in the inclusive involvement of Disabled people and people from other marginalised communities, and their work has been instrumental in supporting national policy.

Episode 2: The Three Hijabis

In this episode, CSP editorial collective member Surinder Guru speaks to Amna Abdullatif of anti-racism organisation The Three Hijabis. The Three Hijabis began as a viral tweet following the horrific racist abuse against three Black England players at the Euro 2020 final. The Three Hijabis created a petition calling for racists to be banned from football matches for life, and, as The Three Hijabis quote on their website, 'together with the backing of over a million people an anti-racist movement was born...'

Episode 3: The Young Women's Film Academy (part one)

In this episode, CSP Administrator Jenna Allsopp-Douglas, speaks to the Young Women's Film Academy about their recent short film 'Impact'. The YWFA provide film making activities and services for girls and young women and the local communities across the North East of England. The activities promote wellbeing and skills in film making for individuals that may not otherwise access provision and opportunities due to poverty or lack of support. Films produced by the YWFA promote issues pertinent to the advancement of women and their aspirations and health.
